❄️ We spent yesterday practicing use of snow anchors, belaying and rope-team traversal on snow with our almost 3yr-old twins. They were excited to use their climbing harnesses, exclaiming “We’re pattached!” (that’s the one word they still mis-pronounce and we never correct them!).
We were at 6,500ft (2.000m) elevation and it was 32°F (0°C) with 20mph (32kph) winds. But they were cosy with multiple layers including wool, down and gore-tex.
